"Be the Church"

Church Update

by Mark L. Holz on April 1, 2024

Dear Church Family,

What a wonderful celebration of Jesus' resurrection yesterday!  While we don't talk about numbers too often, we had 126 people in attendance including 12 children in Children's Church.  God continues to deliver more people to our assembly!

Unfortunately, our video camera system, which records and posts our services to our website did not work yesterday for unexplained reasons.  It was caught early in the service, but no solution could be found at the time.  We will work on the system this week to get it back up and operational and apologize for any inconvenience.
There is no Youth Group Meeting tonight.  Meetings will resume next Monday, April 8th from 6:00-7:30pm as usual.
CBS Bible Study - Tuesday, 9:00am concludes a six-week study of Galatians tomorrow.  A new six-week study on Philippians will begin on Tuesday, April 9th.
Tuesday Evening Prayer Meeting - Tuesday, 6:00-7:00pm.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - Operation Christmas Child
As was announced earlier, we have a team working on a new plan for filling shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child (aka OCC).  Each month starting in April, we will collect items in 6 different categories.  For April, we will collect Hygiene and Personal Care items.  We are setting up a table in Fellowship Hall with bins to drop the donations in.  A list of suggested gifts is listed below and will also be available at the table.  Each month, there will be a new category and a new list of suggested gifts
At the end of October, we will set up all of the donated items and have a packing party.  Our goal for 2024 is to pack 200 boxes.  We are excited to see how well we can do when we work together as a church to spread the gospel through this program.
