Church Update 07/04/23

Happy 4th of July!  Here is what is going on at church this week. 

Our Tuesday evening Prayer Group is CANCELLED for this evening, July 4th to allow members to spend time with their families on this holiday.  This group will resume next Tuesday, July 11th at 6pm at the church. 

New security feature for entrance door. 
Starting this last Sunday, we have installed a security bar at the Northeast (main) entrance to the church.  This has been done to better secure the building during services, especially for our Children's Ministry area which is located near the door.  The door will be locked during services from this point forward but will be monitored for anyone who may arrive late.  The door on the north side of the building that enters directly into the sanctuary is an alternate entrance which is also monitored to let people in. 

Prayer Requests

• Please keep Charlie and Maureen Caliva in your prayers as they deal with the recent diagnosis of a mass in Charlie's brain which has not yet been identified, so pray it is benign.
• Also please pray for Joyce Robinsons's son Kenny who was in a serious motorcycle accident last week and is in the beginning of a long recovery process for numerous injuries he has suffered.
• Please also keep Lee Brown in your prayers as he recovers from a serious infection that forced the removal of his knee replacement.  He has about two more months of recovery from the infection at which point they are hopeful to replace the knee again which will be followed by months of recovery.
