Church Update 04/17/23
by Mark L. Holz on April 17, 2023Dear Church Family,
I am pleased to announce that we have given Dede Mustill the title of "Church Secretary". This new title better defines the role she already performs in our assembly, and admittedly does not cover EVERYTHING she does for LTBC, but provides, importantly, a defined title for her within the church. Please join me in congratulating her on this well-deserved recognition and please continue to pray for her in this extremely important role in the church.
While we have developed a Finance "team" within the church to establish and execute new processes in that area, we are in need of a person to perform the role of "Treasurer", someone who can act as a lead for these efforts. If this is something you have a background in and/or an interest in performing, please let me know.
Tuesday Night Prayer Group meets every Tuesday evening at 6:00pm at the church. Please join us!
Our newly formed "Children's Church" committee met for the first time yesterday and we now have twelve saints who have indicated a willingness to service in this area. We will "unofficially" be offering an alternative to children who are brought each Sunday while we work on the necessary steps to create an official program. Please pray for this group as well as future individuals who may serve in this ministry in the future.
Our Pastoral Search Committee will have their first meeting tomorrow evening at the church. Please pray for this group as they endeavor on the process for finding a new Pastor for our assembly.
Next Sunday we will be celebrating LTBC's 32nd Anniversary with cake after the service. We hope you can join us for a time of fellowship and celebration.
Thank you to Anthony Godoy, who delivered our first opening verse this last Sunday for what we hope will be a weekly event. This ministry is open to any men interested in taking place, please respond to this email or see me directly if you are willing to participate in this new element of our services.
God Bless you all, have a great week!
Mark
