Church Update 02/13/23
by Mark Holz on February 13, 2023Dear Church Family,
What an exciting service yesterday! I felt it and several others mentioned to me unsolicited that they had also. A certain energy in the sanctuary that could only come from the Holy Spirit and His people in corporate worship.
Well over half of our weekly assembly has now volunteered in one ministry or more with our church. We are truly living the tagline that Pastor Ted often quoted "BE the Church"!
And thank you to all of you who have stepped up to be a part of God's ministry here.
A few reminders from yesterday;
Our Tuesday Evening Prayer Meetings continue to be a blessing to all who attend and we pray to all those we pray for each week. We hope to see more come out each Tuesday evening at 6pm at the church.
The Copperopolis Community Food Pantry will be doing their monthly distribution this Thursday here at the church from 1-4pm. If you know anyone who is in need or is looking for a worthy ministry to serve in, send them to us!
As mentioned yesterday, we have a group of ladies that have started a "Fellowship Committee" to plan events for the body of Christ to have fellowship. This may take the form of potlucks, celebrations, etc. Anyone who would like to be a part is welcome, the original ladies that are part of this group (in alphabetical order) are Linda Downey, Darlene Grant, Kathy Holz, Karen Kaja, Phyllis Richards and Diana Shellooe.
Chances are you know one or more of these ladies, so let them know if you'd like to get involved.
Have a blessed week!
In His Service with you,
Mark
